- qa = Start recording a macro. The macro will be named “a”
- (make your edits)
- q = Stop recording the macro
Now you can execute the macro with the command @a. You can even specify how many times to execute the macro like this 100@a which will execute the macro 100 times.
ctrl-a = Increment the number under the cursor
ctrl-x = Decrement the number under the cursor
